N.B. Potential Spoiler Alert for Vampire’s Key
CFNM or clothed female naked male is a key theme within the Sister’s of Annis vampire series. It adds an element of Domination to the vampires and submission to their servers; men who fulfil the role of loyal servant much like Renfield in the Dracula stories minus the annoying trappings of clothes.
In the modern world clothing serves a number of functions. Primarily for warmth and protection, it became a method of showing ones status and attracting a mate, with royalty and noble folk taking this to the extreme.
In contrast, a lack of clothing might be regarded as primitive (a derogatory and prejudiced term I personally dislike) or as a sign of one’s renunciation of the trappings of societal life and its focus on physical comfort and pleasure.
However, there is also a fetishistic view where a person is stripped of their clothes. This lack of clothing creates a vulnerability. Everything is exposed and, in the context of CFNM (Clothed Female naked male), it enables the Lady or Ladies to see the mans body, his muscles, his body tone, his penis and his state of arousal.
In my bookVampire’s Key I take this concept and utilise it in a way that attempts, and hopefully succeeds, in empowering women. It isn’t used as a form to focus on the men, but highlights the unspoken power of the Female vampires.
I deliberately used the idea of a club to enhance this concept within the story, while also maintaining it as an underlying aspect of the private lives of the vampires. In the club, The Countess, men are forbidden to wear clothes. However, rather than enabling the men to exploit the women, they are instead extremely vulnerable, something that is shown in one of the chapters.
While CFNM creates a physical change in the vampires world, it also enhances an energetic change. This adds to the empowerment of the Females and aids their feeding be it blood or energy.
I wonder how many of my readers would like to visit The Countess?
