The Countess

I'm in a good place with the new novella, having drafted a lot more of the story today and developed the central theme. There is much more to do still, but I am balancing the writing with chores, meditations, beta reading, website work, writing Lockdown Vampires (I am on season 3 now), promo work, and chilling out!

Return to The Countess

I've known for some time that I needed to focus on The Countess as a focal point for a novella. If you're new to my site and writing, The Countess is a vampire nightclub where powerful female vampires are served by handsome, naked men. That's the rule, no exceptions, for now, unless it is Girl's Night, and in the latter case, there are no men present at all.

As some of my amazing readers will know, I first introduced The Countess in the dark erotic book Vampire's Key:

I realised, while writing Vampire's Key, that the club was going to be a regular location in this world, and although we visited it a few times during the first book, it was omitted entirely from Katie's Server which explored a different aspect of the Sisters of Annis world. Readers will be pleased to know that Vampire's Fire returned us to The Countess exploring new aspects of this vampiric world, but it was nevertheless still a passing visit. My current novella will be firmly steeped in the club itself.

My intention is to further explore the club as we follow two women and two men who venture there for different reasons. We will also see some of the characters from the Sisters of Annis series: some will be present but in the background, and some will feature more prominently.

You also won't need to have read the series books or Katie's Server to follow the events in the new novella, though I do hope you will consider supporting my work by purchasing, sharing and reviewing my books, signing up to my email list, and giving me a follow on social media. It all really helps me to bring this to a wider audience.

The Countess Returns

This novella will be hot, it will be descriptive, it will NOT be safe for work (Unless you work at a club such as The Countess), and it will be full of hot naked men and powerful female vampires.

I do not yet have any excerpts to quote (though I did write one that has potential for future promo work, today). I am also aware that the name may be changed a little, as there is definitely more than one story set in The Countess, and as such, this may become a mini series of stand-alone novellas set purely in The Countess...
